USA TODAY: A new heroin-like drug that rots the flesh of it’s users has appeared in the US for the first time, according to an Arizona health official.
'Krokodil' is a homemade opiate made from over-the-counter headache pills, iodine, gasoline, paint thinner or alcohol. After it’s injected the drug destroys users’ skin, turning it green and scaly.
Two cases of the drug have been seen by Arizona drug officials in the past week.
